There are very few government programs that work as intended. Unintended consequences are the norm rather than the exception. Most government programs are "pie in the sky" wish lists looking for an Utopian solution.

Any program proposed or sponsored by the government, and particularly by the current administration, should be viewed and approached with a great deal of skepticism. -
