This is not a surprise. Doctors give these 'death timers' to anyone they don't know what to do with and it is what is called an estimate though people want to think of it as a static number. This deal was obviously not one of the best. He could have died at two months out, and he might die in a few years; doing articles saying that he is still alive only serves to keep people angered over the situation.
