The Revelation »
Posted By happydaze 3 weeks, 4 days ago in ReligionAn infinitely loving God intentionally created a world of good and evil in order to experience mercy, compassion and other emotions. It would not be enough to merely reason what it might be like to lose a loved one; a truly loving God would need to experience the emotion of grief in order to understand love. God would have to hide His presence from us since He transcends time and would have to experience many of these emotions through us.
If God is going to experience all of the emotions of love, creation would have to be done in just the right way. Satan was given power, but was not given the ability to love others. Humans were given the ability to love, but were made puny. God prefers the humans since love is what matters, but Satan is jealous of the humans and views them to be insignificant. With the conditions that God established, Satan believes creation is a test to see which is greater…power or love.

This theory is remarkably consistent with the actual text of the Bible. So consistent with the Bible, that it actually causes the pieces to fit together so that the Bible makes more sense. It makes sense that God was a harsh disciplinarian in Old Testament times since God was laying a trap for Satan. It was all part of the plan, but all of the children of God in ancient Israel who were executed under the Law are redeemed to eternal life by the fulfillment of the Law. It is all the previous interpretations of the Bible that have been inconsistent with the Bible and most have caused the Bible to be viewed with hostility.-

This is why there are so many competing divisions within Christianity as theologians have argued over these conflicting passages for centuries. According to this new view of the Bible, God predetermined who would be born with a spirit of love within themselves; so God did predetermine who would go to Heaven since those are the ones who have something inside themselves worthy of eternal life. We are each one person and only through Christ can the separation of our spirit from our flesh be justified, so we only make it to Heaven through Christ even though being a Christian is not necessary. On the Day of Judgment, both the spirit and flesh will be judged by their works, so we are judged by our works but the spirit within us is perfect. In all nations and religions, every child of God (every deep down good person) makes it to Heaven, and no passage in the Bible has to be ignored or redefined. The solution to any riddle should be consistent with all the clues.

So God changed his mind like the man? If the previous interpretations of the Bible are wrong, then how could you reconcile Holy Spirit guiding you and also how do you claim that the Bible is the inspired word of God?

Matthiew 5:17"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

"Satan must be careful to avoid violating the Law while he brings a spirit of self-love into the world causing humans to violate the Law. In this way Satan is able to use the Law to destroy humanity without violating the Law himself. By doing this Satan believes he has shown that power is the true measure of greatness."

Notice how it says the spirit of self-love. Now Jesus taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves. In a way this is parable/metaphor. But this is exactly what I am sorry to say today's Conservative/Evangelical community is about.
They tell is they love these people they seem to hate. They condemn and tell us what we shouldn't do yet are as guilty as anyone else.
In essence they are "...careful to avoid violating the Law while he brings a spirit of self-love into the world causing humans to violate the Law."
The previous administration was about how "... power is the true measure of greatness." -

"This essay is about a spiritual event hidden in the Bible. The revelation of this hidden spiritual event will trigger the apocalypse. In a sense, the revelation contained in this essay is itself the apocalypse since the words revelation and apocalypse both mean to uncover or reveal a secret. It is this essay and the secret it reveals…this is why the prophecy is called the apocalypse. This essay is the beginning of the end."
Well, I have to say with all due respect. I don't believe the essay is the beginning of the end.
God is in control not man.
To try and say there is a hidden spiritual event in the Bible, and that this "Revelation" triggers it.
Well, bellieve as ya please. But not me.
Read the "Revelation" in the Bible. That takes ya through what happens. It is not man who is in control. For no one is worthy but the Lamb of God.
Many want to believe that they can somehow make things happen on their own. Doesn't work that way.
I've heard people state different things for a lifetime. None of them have affected what God will do !!!
Galatians 1: 6-10
"Only One Gospel
6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ." -

"This essay must be distributed so that it will be taken seriously by Satan. When Satan takes this seriously enough to confront Michael, that is when the end will begin."
Did anyone go beyond the summary and read the 3 sections linked at the top?-

Ummmmm !!!
Satan already knows his days are numbered.
When Jesus Christ was ressurected, satan knew indeed he was beaten.
For Christ conquered death and holds the keys. Not satan.
Satan is very angry and is trying to destroy all who he can, for he is full of hatred, and does not want any to enjoy the bountifulness of God's everlasting Love. Satan knows wwhat he lost and wants noone to have what could have been his, a place with the everlasting light, and love of God.
Be aware that satan knows the Bible inside and out. He is trying to trick and deceive people into believing in his power, not God's!!!!
God is allowing a certain amount of time, in His perfect time. Satan will be dealt with as it is told in the Bible.
Do not fear what satan can do, Respect what God can and does do. Satan wants to take your eyes off of God and put them on him. That would be a mistake.
For only God is worthy of our Love and Worship.
Do not fear the created. Fear what the Creator can and will do to those who do not follow His Way .

So, I guess the Garden of Eden WAS just a set-up and the concept of Original Sin is a set-up as well? How can Adam or Eve be blamed for following God's intention? It wasn't a fall from grace it was a push.-

Well, there are some who believe that.
I don't.
Eve was truly deceived, Adam ate of the forbidden fruit because he desired his wife over God.
As such we are in the state we are now.
But.
God so Loved us He gave His only Begotten Son, so that we through His atonement for our sins may be reconciled to God forever. In Jesus Christ.
Amen.
People try to make this a power game betwween God and satan. There is no game.
God the Creator is infinite in all things. Satan the created is not.
If satan were we would be under constant attack such as not been seen. Just imagine no God to limit the evil of satan. Hitler would have won, all before Hitler would have destroyed this world.
We exist through the Grace and Mercy of God.
The time is coming when God's wrath will be poured out, upon a deserving population of this world. We have no clue as to how patient and loving He has been.
I do not enjoy the thought of the destruction to come, I only know that I pray many will come to Jesus Christ and accept His Salvation.
Peace. -

The doctrine of original sin was first developed in second-century Bishop of Lyon Irenaeus's struggle against Gnosticism. Before that it did not exist. It is Roman Catholic dogma which I do not believe.
Reply
On the other hand Gnostics believed that our world was created by the false creator god demiurge who was not God The Father that Jesus came and taught.

These sorts of articles always stimulate arguments. The non-christian propeller members will dump on the story or viewpoints, while the Christian members will all hold to their own narrow interpretation of the Bible/Christianity as the truth, while rejecting all other interpretations. Everyone apparently is a Bible expert yet no agreement is ever reached on what it's supposed to be telling us.

I can understand, your frustration.
I can only speak for what I know to be true. I do not want to claim a perfect knowledge of the Bible.
There are passages that have not been revealed to me as of yet, some of which confuse me.
On those I will remain silent and allow those with the discernment given by the Holy Spirit to impart what is given to them.
I think if one reads the Bible and prays for the wisdom given through God. It is given when God gives it.
As far as the narrow interpretations. There is not really much wiggle room in the Truth of God. Ya either accept it or ya don't.
For His path is narrow and wide are the paths that lead to destruction.
I don't know if that helped.
Peace. -
