Biden v. Palin -- The Re-Match »
Posted By Newperson 1 month ago in Political NewsCampaigning in an upstate New York congressional district, Vice President Joe Biden today attacked his one-time opponent, Sarah Palin, who has led a succession of big-name Republicans in backing the candidacy of the Conservative Party nominee.
Sarah Palin thinks the answer to energy is ‘Drill, baby, drill,' " Biden said at a rally this afternoon. Then he leaned in to the microphone: "It's a lot more complicated, Sarah."
Biden called on Democrats to "join us in teaching a lesson" to a Republican Party he said is promoting "absolutism" and "cannot tolerate any dissent."
On Saturday, Republican candidate Dede Scozzafava dropped out of the race in New York's 23rd congressional district, as she saw her support crater in part because Republicans like Palin questioned her conservative credentials. Scozzafava on Sunday endorsed Democrat Bill Owens for the seat.

The contrast between the two is striking.
Reply
One knows how governing works and the other runs away from government.
One has a grasp of national and international issues because of experience and knowledge and the other pretends she has extensive international credentials by living in Alaska and can't name one national newspaper or magazine she reads.
One who professes to support those who are needy by cutting their funding and the other who works to include those without affordable health care insurance in the health reform bill.
The contrast would continue for ad infinitum.-

The only one of the two who had "governed", was Palin, by definition.
One has a grasp of national and international issues because of experience and knowledge and the other pretends she has extensive international credentials by living in Alaska and can't name one national newspaper or magazine she reads.
Biden called for a 3-state solution to Iraq. Look it up. Almost everyone saw the ridiculous nature of that policy. Especially when a 2-state solution is doing so good in Israel.
One who professes to support those who are needy by cutting their funding and the other who works to include those without affordable health care insurance in the health reform bill.
For 30 years he's been sitting on his hands, and you want to blame the one governer who was actually putting money back into the hands of the people in her state.
Look, I know you don't like Palin: that's not a problem. What silly is that neither you, nor Joe, understand that Palin is merely a speaker now. She's not on the ticket.
But keep running against Palain, by all means. -

The Democrats are really hoping Palin runs in 2012.
Reply
That is because they need to have a "villain" that they can all get on board and hate at the same time.
In typical liberal politics, it's not about what their candidate can do (or not do), it's about how much they hate the other side.
For example, even though liberals could choose to ignore Rush, Beck, Palin, and all the rest, they refuse to, constantly "creating" stories about them here on propeller.com.
In the meantime, they ignore what their own candidate is doing...and justify it.

"Sarah is right on and is a true American."

--I guess you forgot that she doesn't read or understand the Constitution or understand what the VP's job is. Plus, she sobbed and wailed that work was just too gosh darn hard when your state is not flush with cash (the way it was when she was blathering about how she was the most popular governor in the US) and then skanked out on her constituents in a huff halfway through her first term to begin working as a right wing prostitute because she kept getting sued for her screw-ups. ;-(

If you are uneducated or misinformed or ungodly you will fight against Palin.

If you are educated, reasonable, insightful and a good judge of character, you will support Palin and all those like her.
It is God who will give her success.
Greater is He who is in Sarah than Satan who is in the world.
One day, every knee will bow to him and every tongue will confess that He is Lord.
Go Sarah!-

You say the "educated" will vote for Palin? I would be willing to put cash money on the fact the truly educated - you know, those who actually went to college and possess an IQ over 100 - wouldn't give Sarah Palin their vote if she were the only one on the ticket.
What about her or her background makes her qualified to do anything in government at this point? She couldn't even fulfill a SINGLE TERM as governor without bailing out and leaving her state in the lurch. And while her abrupt exit may actually prove beneficial to her state, that's not the point. What happens to America if, halfway through her first term she decides that the headaches of running the country just aren't worth it? If she just throws in the towel because the public speaking circuit comes with a paycheck that is much more more appealing? That's what she did to Alaska, after all. In fact, if you look at her history it appears to be a pattern with her....an inability to commit to a "job" for more than a year or two at a time. She couldn't even commit to a college for more than a year or two at a time, or didn't you know she attended multiple colleges in order to obtain her basic degree?
But you claim the "educated" will vote for her? Unless you simply define "educated" as "blind follower of your local preacher and whichever Bible he approves of" then you're delusional. There isn't a single intellectual argument to defend her job abandonment history. That history may be okay for a Wal-Mart greeter, but not the leader of the free world. The job is too important to entrust with a woman who quits at the first hint of difficulty. Only the extreme right wing of the GOP seems to see that trait as a plus, which frankly says more about them than almost anything else can. -

Con men were mesmerized by the cartoonish sight of Palin winking and rockin' her Saks 5th Ave covered fanny while chirping "Drill, baby. Drill!" Yeah, you're ready for the White House, Sarah. Only thing missing are your stripper heels. ;-P
