Posted By capj71 1 month, 4 weeks ago in Political NewsOn his Fox News program, Glenn Beck compared the healthcare reform bill to 9/11. He claimed that his 9/12 Project is working to derail healthcare reform which they think would be like another 9/11. When you are a reporter the 1st amendment right doesn't apply. In journalism, you are taught to be unbias, and tell the news without your opnions.

Because he is on a show that promotes his opinions, a lot of his followers think it's real news.
And of course, the rest of the county know very well it's not, Thank God.
I think someone needs to take his and his family's health benefits away for a year and see how they make it thru. He might change his mind of a Health care plan for the country. -

One has to actually think about the metaphors Beck uses in order to understand him. Some commenters are so used to having their info spoon fed to them like pablum that they only see or hear the surface of what he says. Deeper thinking is required with Beck. Some can't achieve it and end up lost. Just because you don't understand what he is saying doesn't make him crazy it makes you dense.

So you are trying to tell us that Beck's goose step followers, his 9/12's, the teaparty jokers, the townhall hysterical shouters are the deep thinkers of America? That's why they understand what Beck is really saying? And all the rest of us are dense. America does not stand a chance in hell if you are our deep thinkers.

But Beck is spoon-fed pablum. He doesn't do his own research and he doesn't even write his own books. Heck and golly, even as opposed to most who use Ghost Writers, Beck even fails there. He has (and this is verifiable if you just open the cover of one of the books other people have written for him) a WHOLE TEAM OF GHOST WRITERS.

Just to be clear, the job title "czar" doesn’t exist in the Obama Administration."---------------------------------

I'm pretty sure Beck is talking about what they do as opposed to the title the White House gives them. Let's remember the White House called something a "stimulus" bill when in actuality it has frozen the economy. Anti-stimulus realy...-

Let's remember that it was Nixon who first used the term Czar. Let's remember that it was GHWBush who used the term with the greatest success ("Drug Czar"). Let's remember that the GWBush Administration referred to the heads of agencies as "Czars". Let us remember that the greatest increase in the number of such "Czars" occurred under the aegis of GWBush. Let us also remember that the Obama Administration not only doesn't recognize that term, but doesn't even use the term off-handedly.

Putting words into someone elses mouth doesn't mean they said that. It only means your facts are wrong or that you are a liar. Which is it?

Compared to the economy being in free-fall, I'd say 'frozen' would be pretty good.
Besides, how do you explain the recent 3.5% growth in the GDP?
