So true.

Which is why a word from him will get Owens elected in NY, Corzine elected in NJ, and Deeds elected in VA. I see a trifecta coming on that will totally confound the neocons. Unless the Right wins by election fraud. In a State as corrupt as NJ it is entirely possible. -

"I still have not met even one person who voted for Obama and regretted their vote"

Funny, most people I talk to say that they do regret voting for obie. Most people vote for selfish reasons, and quite honestly, things have not improved under obie's watch. Regardless of the spin he puts on it, with the 1 million jobs created, and all the other pie in the sky claims. -

Justice, not trying to be argumentative, but I have met only one person who admits to having voted for Obama. I go to my Garden Club - hear nothing but negative comments about Obama. My singing group performs- hear nothing but negative comments about Obama. Go out to eat with this or that group - hear nothing but negatives about Obama. Go to my dentist - negative comments. Go to my doctor - negative comments. To be truthful, and this IS the truth, I have personally heard not a single word of praise or even acceptance of him.

It isn't that people don't LIKE him, it is that people don't trust him because they intensely dislike his policies, his actions, his Cabinet, his "pastor", and his close associates relating to ACORN and others with questionable ethics to put it as politely as I iknow how in an effort to not be mean. The man is NOT good news for America. I'm sorry, but that is how I and millions of others see it. Give him a chance? He's had a chance. He's had lots of chances. How many times should you allow a bull to gore you before you quit giving him chances?

This statement is a lie! Go to http://www.pollingreport.com/obama_job.htm
and see for yourself. Obama's poll numbers have been quite steady for
the last two months. -

from the poll you refer to, progressive:

"The survey suggests that the president's approval rating remains over 50 percent
even though most Americans disapprove of how Obama is handling the economy, health care, Afghanistan, Iraq, unemployment, illegal immigration and the federal budget deficit.
How does he do it?
"By retaining a reservoir of goodwill left over from his election to the White House a year ago. Six in 10 say Obama inspires confidence in them; six in 10 also call him a strong leader who is honest and trustworthy. Sixty-three percent say he is not a typical politician. More than half give Obama a thumbs-up on 11 of the 12 personal characteristics tested," adds Holland.
Only 45 percent say he has a clear plan for solving the country's problems -- the only item on which a majority has a negative view of him." -

No, I understand the article: A bunch of artificial 'Indices' to paint the poll numbers in the worst possible light, mostly based on numbers from Rasmussen, a known right-biased polling organization. The article makes the egregious assumption that Rasmussen is, in fact, wholly more authoritative than every single other poll out there.

Still scratching my head over why it is 'irresponsible' to survey adults rather than 'likely voters'. After all, these are job approval surveys, not election result predictors.
