Elsewhere in propeller today - The CIA's "extraordinary rendition" of prisoners to Uzbekistan resulted in their being tortured, raped with broken bottles, boiled alive.

And the trial in italy of 23 CIA spooks for kidnappin a cleric on Italian soil and sending him to Egypt under "extraordinary rendition," where HE was tortured.

The question we have to ask is, howinthehell can ANYBODY still cling to the notion of America as the most civilized nation on the planet, a beacon of freedom and democracy for all the world to see? In fact, how can any American capable of both thought and feeling not contemplate the overthrow of of our government, knowing that it is the author of such horrors?
