FTA: "Hoffman’s rejection by rank-and-file voters in a solidly Republican district dampened the conservatives’ mood on an otherwise upbeat night and raised serious questions about the movement’s attempt to purge moderates from party ranks. Now, many of Hoffman’s right-wing cheerleaders are struggling to explain their dubious gambit, while others fear repercussions for their zealotry."

Yet there will remain a subset of the party, and of course the wingnut representation on propeller, who will analyze this and proclaim that the loss signifies that the GOP isn't shrill enough, perhaps didn't scream about conspiracies enough, to frighten the voters into a right wing vote.

What like how many voted in that election 5k? Wow you won and with a Republican endorsement! But in the big elections of about 7 million the Dems lost big time. Now tell me again how masive your win was as you ignore the other elections that you lost?

Actually, this election was great because it was a warning to the RINOs. The Swastikrats didn't win but rather experienced the effect of a divided GOP vote. Kind of like Willy Clinton won his first term with a minority of the total number of voters. Remember when Ross Perot elected him? Anyhow, it's convenient to ignore Dem defeats in VA and NJ, eh? Get ready for a massacre in the House and Senate, Demokooks!

attacking her as a closet socialist with a cynical, hidden agenda—the same terms they have used to demonize President Barack Obama.>>>>>>

I guess they didn't notice those tactics didn't work against Obama. So, they use losing tactics and lose again. hmmm. Not too bright.

An idependent conservative with no money forced her out of the race. If he had a fraction of the resources available to her, the Dem would have been toast.
