Well I suppose I should congratulate you Yankee fans. I seem to remember that BB promised me a Yankees hat or Jeeter jersey. I need something to take out my frustrations on while I'm waiting for April.

My Dodgers didn't make the World Series but I'm glad the Yankees beat Philadelphia. The Phillies knocking L.A. out of the fall classic for the second straight year is most annoying.

        Again, Congratulations NY.

I don't want to rain on your parade(actually I do) but here are some interesting stats.
If you take all the Super Bowls, Stanley Cups, World Series and NBA Championships for both cities you would have the following.

New York - 43 total and they have 7 professional teams.

Boston - 32 total and they have 4 professional teams.

New Yorks "title" average is 6.14.

          Boston's "title" average is 8.

Boston has a higher percentage of wins in professional sports per team than New York or any other city!

So all you New York fans - Go get me a beer and fix me a pot pie or else!

SO what. The evil empire wins another. The Yankees and the Red sox are reasons that their needs to be a hard cap in MLB. The yankees should win the title every year considering they have the equvalent of an all star team.

Much as it pains me to have a team from NYC win anything, I have to congratulate them. They certainly looked like the better team; not by much, but by enough to be noticable. It always seemed like they had just a little more in reserve than the Phils. Yeah, Ryan Howard looked pathetic; but some of the Yankees big guns didn't really show up either. So I figure the disappointments were a wash.

Congratulations Yankees! And may the great flood not wash over NYC until after you've had your victory parade.
