some guy on propeller said he heard word on the street is... must be true.
aarp members already get government health care. why would care about how much i pay for insurance - or any of the young families struggling to make ends meet. they get SS and medicare.
its the AARP organization that approves of the bill. because the organization offers private insurance to its members but they are struggling to pay for huge increases every year.
a healthy country is a strong country. stop trying to weaken America. -

Here's an idea: What do you think of the Constitutionality of a mandatory health plan puchase imposed on American citizens, under threat of financial "penalties" to be levied by the IRS?

Actually, the Republicans have a number of healthcare reform options that you never hear about because the Kleptocrats will not allow a bill with their options out of committee for a floor vote. Heard much about healthcare savings accounts or interstate insurance sales to increase competition? Of course you haven't.

Now damn it, the American Medical Association understands it and endorses it. AARP understands it and endorses it. Both entities have everything to lose if they're wrong about it, so of course they didn't endorse it without thorough investigation. ENOUGH of believing the propagandists who represent the damned insurance lobby. Time to grow up folks, and stop being led around by the nose out of fear tactics.

What do they have to lose if they're wrong about it? Conversely, what do they gain if they're "right" about it? And what would constitute being "right"? -

Both entities are more political action committees than they are representative of the views of their members. Most of their funding comes from other sources than membership dues so they can afford to ignore the actual opinions of most seniors and physicians.

Obama & the Dems are doing absolutely nothing more than what they said during the campaign. In case you missed it, THEY WON ON THAT PLATFORM!!.

So, if you advocate getting your gun, then you advocate the overthrow of the duly-elected gov't of the United States, which was elected by a CLEAR MAJORITY to do exactly (almost) what it's doing now.
That is what I call un-American. If you want to overthrow governments, go someplace where that's a relatively common occurrence - maybe Burma, Pakistan, Somalia. -

Obama campaigned as a moderate not the radical liar that he really is! The MAJORITY in this country are against a government take over of healthcare. The lazy, I mean poor get medicaid and payed absolutely nothing for it, then they pay absolutely nothing out of pocket. Seniors are forced to pay into this system during their whole working life. Obama wants to cut $400 billion from medicare while 30 million people will be retiring and forced to medicare in the next 10 years. Medicare CAN NOT be cut without rationing! What needs to be cut is medicaid, no more free ride. The only reason the AARP is allegedly backing this crap bill - search for the CEO, preferably a picture, it explains it all. My doctor and all the doctors in his office building (40) are against the healthcare bill! If the bill passes 15 of them will get out of medicine. Call and email Congress and the Senate and let them know "you vote for this healthcare bill, we vote you out of office"!

AARP is a disgrace...Ask almost any member now or that have stopped membership. AARP is clearly in the tank for Obama

Have faith people, the tide is turning..remember it takes a huge ship to turn around. Dispite the power the Democrates appear to have in building up grass routes slaves/pawns....We will take back America. -
