Posted By mesodude 1 month, 3 weeks ago in Political NewsFor all the complaints about the size and cost of the current Democratic piece of legislation in healthcare (and also despite his claim to having ‘8 or 9 better ideas’), he doesn’t appear to have a clue as to how much the much vaunted Republican plan (all 230 pages of it) costs or what it actually does. When asked this morning about the cost of the program, Boehner said:
“Uh, I would think that we have one,” House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said of the amount of spending in the bill. “I would think that the numbers probably, well there is no net number.”

How many times are you going to link to blogs and op-ed articles. Again this is another "story" on a site that uses itself as a reference, not to mention it tries to insult Boenher by printing a bogus "letter".

It then sources a Politico hit piece to try to nail Boehner on "not knowing the cost" less than 18 hours after the CBO finishes scoring it. Democrats didn't know the true cost of any of their bills even weeks after the fact(As evidenced by the lies they told about the cost of H.R. 3200). That didn't stop themn from throwing out arbitrary numbers though.
