Is the Tea Party Gang Turning GOP Into a Party of Hate? -- Politics Daily »
Posted By TimALoftis 2 weeks, 5 days ago in Political OpinionWhen John Boehner, the Republican leader of the House, appeared at the Tea Party rally at the Capitol on Thursday afternoon, it was a dramatic signal: The wing-nuts have taken over the GOP.
Think I'm being harsh? The angry folks at the protest -- which attracted several thousand conservatives -- held up signs with messages of hate: "Get the Red Out of the White House," "Waterboard Congress," "Ken-ya Trust Obama?" One called the president a "Traitor to the U.S. Constitution." Another sign showed pictures of dead bodies at the Dachau concentration camp and compared health care reform to the Holocaust. A different placard depicted Obama as Sambo. Yes, Sambo. Another read, "Obama takes his orders from the Rothchilds" -- a reference to the anti-Semitic conspiracy theory holding that one evil Jewish family has manipulated events around the globe for decades.

Klarissa, these citizens exercising their rights is not a worry at all. However, the ideas they introduce seem so insecure and unproductive that it is concerning. They want attention, and when the get attention to the message, well the reaction is not fear. Rather, it sort of make one relate the thought patten of the psychiatrist at Fort Hood, or the fellow at VMI to the possibilities. In the aftermath of not necessarily "hate" but psychosis we have awful outcomes that hindsight forces us to ask what could have been done to avoid the wrath of anger, stupidity, hate, insecurity or what ever.

What real news? The only thing I see is a minority of fanatical sect members trying to pretend they represent something more than an extremist sect.

It was kind of amusing to see how the zionists have trained these people to chant "holocaust/nazis" as they are led around by the nose by zionists who have always thought Hitler's state ideology was just great - and have reproduced it in Palestine.
See any difference between:
"aryan master race", "lebensraum (living space) for the master race", "ethnic cleansing/genocide for non-aryan subhumans"
and
"god's chosen people", "homeland for the chosen people", and "ethnic cleansing/genocide for subhumans non-zionists"?
What is even more amusing is when they chant "commie" at Obama without even realizing that they are being led around by the nose by real commies/totalitarians.
Frankly, that these groups can be led around by the nose by corrupt oligarchs playing much the same role as oligarchs played in Germany in the 1920s-1930s shows more than anything else that we need to rescue them from the clutches of the oligarchs who organize and finance extremism for their own power and profit. Then we could begin together to restore American democracy.
The Passing of Irving Kristol
The man who delightedly accepted the title of neoconservatism’s “godfather” passed away on September 18 at age 89. Sad to report, the neoconservatism Irving Kristol fastened on conservative Republicans endures, and it is not good for America.
After years as an unabashed youthful Trostskyite in New York City, Kristol claimed that the excesses of the New Left in the 1960s and the crimes of communism drove him into the Republican Party. But in his 1995 book Neoconservatism: The Autobiography of an Idea, he stated, “I regard myself as lucky to have been a young Trotskyite and I have not a single bitter memory.”
Younger Americans know little of Leon Trotsky, the lesser-known partner of Vladimir Lenin who teamed with the more famous Russian thug to convert their nation into one of history’s bloodiest tyrannies. After Lenin’s death, Trotsky then partnered with the more ruthless Josef Stalin before being denounced and exiled as the result of a power struggle. Murdered in Mexico by one of Stalin’s agents, Trotsky then became a hero to international socialists who always favored the tyranny of big government and centralized power, but they wanted it chosen by people rather than forcing it down people’s throats with police state brutality.
Praised for his so-called contributions to the conservative movement and the Republican Party, Kristol was much more the personification of a Trojan Horse within America’s right wing.....

Anyone who doesn't know which party is the party of "hate" hasn't been paying attention.

These idiots should know what happens whenever a conservative goes to give a major speech at Columbia or any other left wing college... The faculty and students go into full riot mode. That's hate. That's intolerance. That's how liberals act.. not conservatives. -

Fifty-seven percent disapprove of his handling of health care policy compared to 42 percent who approve. In September, 51 percent approved and 47 percent disapproved.

But he sure slapped the ten thousand folks in the face yesterday by seemingly trying to overshadow them, yet again.

Well, take consolation where you can. That a majority are in discordance with Obama over health care is because a strong majority think he has not gone far enough and want the same kind of strong public health system that the rest of the developed world has.

In this they are perhaps showing that Americans are waking up to the disastrous effects of having an entrenched, corrupt "oligarchical" class in America. Are you in favor of "money" buying massive amounts of propaganda to abuse Americans?
How corporate P.R. works to kill healthcare reform
One of the reasons I left my job at CIGNA, where I headed corporate communications and was part of the Legal & Public Affairs division, was because I did not want to be involved in yet another P.R. and lobbying campaign to kill or gut reform. I finally came to question the ethics of what I had done and been a part of for nearly two decades to influence decision making and bill writing on Capitol Hill.
When I testified before the Senate Commerce Committee in late June, I told the senators how the industry has conducted duplicitous and well-financed P.R. and lobbying campaigns every time Congress has tried to reform our healthcare system, and how its current behind-the-scenes efforts may well shape reform in a way that benefits Wall Street far more than average Americans. I noted that, just as they did 15 years ago when the insurance industry led the effort to kill the Clinton reform plan, it is using shills and front groups to spread lies and disinformation to scare Americans away from the very reform that would benefit them most. The industry, despite its public assurances to be good-faith partners with the president and Congress, has been at work for years laying the groundwork for devious and often sinister campaigns to manipulate public opinion.....
...The industry goes to great lengths to keep its involvement in these campaigns hidden from public view. ....
....What does this all mean for our country and our democracy?
During my 20 years in corporate communications and public affairs, I participated in the steady growth and influence of largely invisible persuasion -- and at a time when newsrooms are shrinking and investigative journalism seems to be vanishing. The number of P.R. people long ago surpassed the number of working journalists in this country. And that ratio of P.R. people to reporters will continue to grow. The clear winners as this shift occurs are big, rich corporations and other special interests. The losers are average Americans, most of whom are completely unaware how their thoughts and actions are being manipulated to achieve corporate goals on Capitol Hill.

Those sound like conservative statistic gathering. Too many people need the reforms for that number to be real.

Not listening? We had a decider and a rubber stamp congress for a for nearly a decade. Insist that your rep think in your behalf and not the lock step partisan politics we see. I can imagine all the minority in congress not agreeing on health care but all with the same reason, tax cuts? That's a game. The nation don't need to play it any longer.

Nope, that is what let the massive corruption by oligarchs creep in that now abuses almost all Americans except the supre-rich. Time to get mad - but intelligently without letting yourself be led around by the nose by propaganda.

Stop Begging Obama to be Obama and Get Mad
The right-wing accusations against Barack Obama are true. He is a socialist, although he practices socialism for corporations. He is squandering the country’s future with deficits that can never be repaid. He has retained and even bolstered our surveillance state to spy on Americans. He is forcing us to buy into a health care system that will enrich corporations and expand the abuse of our for-profit medical care. He will not stanch unemployment. He will not end our wars. He will not rebuild the nation. He is a tool of the corporate state.
The right wing is not wrong. It is not the problem. We are the problem. If we do not tap into the justifiable anger sweeping across the nation, if we do not militantly push back against corporate fraud and imperial wars that we cannot win or afford, the political vacuum we have created will be filled with right-wing lunatics and proto-fascists. The goons will inherit power not because they are astute, but because we are weak and inept.
Violence is a dark undercurrent of American history. It is exacerbated by war and economic decline. Violence is spreading outward from the killing fields in Iraq and Afghanistan to slowly tear apart individuals, families and communities. There is no immunity. The longer the wars continue, the longer the members of our working class are transformed by corporate overlords into serfs, the more violence will dominate the landscape. The slide into chaos and a police state will become inevitable. -

.... It is we who are guilty, guilty for sending these young men and women to wars that did not have to be fought. It is we who are guilty for turning away from the truth of war to wallow in a self-aggrandizing myth, guilty because we create and decorate killers and when they come home maimed and broken we discard them. It is we who are guilty for failing to defy a Democratic Party that since 1994 has betrayed the working class by destroying our manufacturing base, slashing funds to assist the poor and cravenly doing the bidding of corporations. It is we who are guilty for refusing to mass on Washington and demand single-payer, not-for-profit health care for all Americans. It is we who are guilty for supporting Democrats while they funnel billions in taxpayer dollars to sustain speculative Wall Street interests. The rage of the confused and angry right-wing marchers, the ones fired up by trash-talking talk show hosts, the ones liberals belittle and maybe even laugh at, should be our rage. And if it is not our rage soon, if we continue to humiliate and debase ourselves by begging Obama to be Obama, we will see our open society dismantled not because of the shrewdness of the far right, but because of our moral cowardice.

This free market and democratic way our nation works is awesome. We have to believe in it. America's economy, and globally through its connections, others was bought to their knees. It is a price to pay for the wonderful days of conservative leadership. The gift of unemployment was softened by a good choice of a Chief Executive. The coming melt down started with Voo Doo economics by President Reagan got full support by President George Bush, and a lockstep conservative congress that managed by Tax Cuts. There is a time to all seasons, a Time for Tax Cuts that fool the foolish and a time to make government competent. Slowly, the congress is being returned to the people. We were so screwed, we did not recognize the government belonged to the people. Conservatives has us thinking our own house is against us. That is true if we give it to the "Deciders" or we are actually against ourselves.

My Fellow Americans: Tea Parties come together to improve the thinking of all Americans. When the Administration that was voted for is not doing the job. Remember, "Hope and Change", than it is time to organize and do the job ourselves.

We really don't mind you Radical Liberal Extremist Puppets sitting in your lounge chairs plucking away at your key boards with all the hate and venom you have built up over your life times. We just object to the fact that you have a huge lump of clay between your floppy ears and can not lower the volume on your Ipods long enough to hear the cries of your brothers and sisters.
Here is an example:
My Fellow Americans: We can now label BO the Swine Flu Assassin.
Say, what you want about G.W.Bush but he did implement increased production of the Swine Flu Vaccine. The present administration has had plenty of time to keep Vaccine production up to the necessary level but have botched it completely.
Who are getting Flu Shots Presently? Not the Nurses and Doctors who were supposed to be first on the list. Not Pregnant Mothers and Babies. Not young Grade School or High School Children. Yes, our Elderly are being left out as well. Well, the answer is actually no one that is in dire need of the Flu Vaccine is getting it. Well then, who are getting it?
Harden Criminals in Prison, I understand secretly Gitmo Captives have been given it, all our Government Politicians, and let's not forget the Elite Radical Liberal Extremist Damocrats.
BO is killing the American people in his own little sinister way. Thinning out the population without a blink of an eye just to feel the Power the Oval Office.
Katrina was a natural disaster that struck with a sudden vengeance creating instant chaos. The City Government chose to wait it out. The State Felt Spending Government Money to Shore up the City was better spent elsewhere. The Federal Government was late to respond because of Red Tape but who got the Blame? G.W. Bush.
BO has had plenty of time to continue the implementing of Bush's speeding up of Flu Vaccine Production. He has been dragging his feet and as a result perhaps millions of innocent people will have to pay with their lives.
Let's impeach this Swine Flu Assassin before it is to late for our Country and it's Overly Trustworthy People. The Real American
