    Do you know anything about his life prior to that? His life growing up? You might want to read up on that so you don't come across as such an ignorant fool.
    
    That said he probably didn't suffer nearly as much as your average Native American does in this society. They've been screwed by the government for hundreds of years, had treaties broken over and over again, had their lands that they were forced on to raped and pillaged after it was discovered they were rich with minerals (though poor in everything else)... the list goes on and on and on. It's about damned time Native Americans had a high place on the US agenda.

      And might I ask, what objective article did you read, that portrays with accuracy, how tough obie had it growing up? Is it the books he has authored? Hardly objective material when an ego-maniac writes a book about himself.
