Mr. Bush insisted and Mr. Obama still insists that Muslims are our friends and that their religion is a peaceful one. Still, the authorities knew of this dirtbag and never removed him from service. With the warning signs in place, Mr. Obama's military brass failed to defuse the dirtbag and instead left him on active duty to kill innocent American soldiers and civilians. Rather than risk offending the Muslim community by investigating the dirtbag and allowing him to continue to serve, The Military brass capitulated to PCism and Islam rather than recognizing the signs for what they were to avert this tragedy. Obama is the Commander and Chief and Hasan and those like him are Obama's responsibility now.

Inactive, I agree with you completely. Now we can see, without doubt, the cost of "political correctness" AND all the laws that prevent law enforcement doing its job as well as it could. Before we became so "open" and "accepting" and so politically correct, I don't believe this could have happened. Who do I blame? Muslim teachings and zealous lawyers, congress, judges, and the rabid political left. Muslim religion obviously teaches to kill, and our legal system and Congress make it easy for dirtbags like this and difficult for others to protect themselves.

Does anyone remember FBI reports of people wanting flying lessons but not wanting to learn how to land being ignored under Bush's watch?Or a PDB stating specifically that bin laden intended to strike the US?Seems to me that if the same people who supported a president who let these things occur under his watch and ignored them and now are trying to blame Obama for this tragic incident, they should at least have the honesty to point this out.

Holy crap. Now, I think I've seen it all. I thought that depravity couldn't sink to a lower level after I burned my eyes out watching climate change skeptics and Glenn Beck tea-baggers play slap and tickle with each other, but this is officially worse.

Certainly, this happened on the President's watch. However, to even suggest that this is his fault is beyond disgusting. It's reprehensible and you should be ashamed of yourself. This is disgusting. -

I don't know if this can be blamed on Obama administration. What I do know is that Obama's administration is a lot softer on muslim extremist.

I think more information needs to come forth before any of us know. What degree did the government agencies know about this man?

You play games.
You want this to be posted, to score points against Obama;
but you want to keep the slime of evil off your hands?
Won't work.
The shooting occurred while Obama was president.
Obama is all 'touch-feely' with muslims.
Ergo, he is responsible.
It is an idiot, evil argument.
And if you don't call it such,
- It is all yours .
It goes home with you.
It is your best friend forever.-

its even more idiotic when coupled with the fact that bush had a lot of info well before 911 that he CHOSE not to look at and instead went on vacation. there were lots of warning signs that went ignored.
Reply
so, according to the "logic" on display here from the cons, bush is squarely to blame for 911.

ROTLMAO Cons, you're total nutjobs. Get serious. Remind us all how you reacted way back in the spring when Homeland Security warned America that you people would start acting crazier than usual and shift your acts of domestic terrorism into high gear? You had a neocon hissy fit and within a couple of months you'd mowed down a prominent doctor and a museum security guard trying to protect visitors to our nation's capital. So don't even TRY to lay this CRAP on Obama. Not after you lying trolls tried to cover up for Bush, Cheney, and Condi-- allowing three thousand Americans to be murdered on 9/11. Again, you're deranged beyond belief if you think anyone takes you seriuosly. ;-x

Obama's name appears ONCE in this story, and its in the context of a third party commenting on how Hasan did not agree with what our president is doing in afghanistan.

What a ridiculous stretch of hatred to link this to Obama with a retitled article (actual article does not link Obama). By their perverted logic the entire Army chain of command is bypassed and Obama is directly responsible. What amazes me is the fringe makes these stupid claims without facts or shame.

Real conservatives must cringe every time they see far right extremists post this putrid innuendo because it stains the GOP by association. Why does the far right hate America so much? -

Regarding the shooting at Fort Hood. An FBI spokesman had given FOX information that they had bascially ruled out terrorism and that any links to terrorism " is not being discussed" at the FBI. The President said in his comments yesterday, "lets not jump to conclusions". He should be giving the same advice to his FBI director Robert Mueller. And if it was true that links to terrorism were in fact NOT being discussed at the FBI in the hours after the shooting then Mueller should be fired.

There is more here than meets the eye. I pray that any Muslim American in or out of the military is not attacked in retaliation.

Like or not there are American Muslims in our military. Defending our country, protecting out borders and were just as outraged as the rest of after the events of 9/11.
