Reading the title at first (and not the article yet) my first reaction was: So what, he just asked to join for a prayer. I thought at that point it was at a bus stop (or a long boring leg on a major road/highway). Maybe he wanted a SHORT prayer for the soldiers who died in the latest shootout, or for the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. So, if that makes him (and maybe some passengers)feel good, why not. I thought the passenger who complained overreacted and showed a form of non-tolerance (we usually attribute to religious people)
BUT:
reading the complete article:
The passenger was right in complaining: stopping under way, asking to hold hands, taking 4 minutes.....
He was either imposing his believes during work hours, or, well what could have been going on in his head: I think, to be on the safe side, I would have liked to leave the bus as well..... -

It's interesting to note that ABC Atlanta just ran a piece on how hard it is for victims of MARTA-caused accidents to get MARTA to pay up. It's even harder for victims to get resolution if they've been injured.

But let one driver ask his passengers to pray, and MARTA flies into action! -
