Neocons In Agony: They Know That Obama Peace Prize Means No Iran Attack | TPMCafe »
Posted By mesodude 1 month ago in Political OpinionI continue to be delighted that the President won the Nobel Peace Prize. Yes, it was, in part, given not in recognition of past achievements but prospectively. The Nobel Committee wants him to be the kind of President who earns a peace prize. So do I.

"Neocons In Agony: They Know That Obama Peace Prize Means No Iran Attack"
Reply
I consider myself a Conservative, not a "Neocon". And I find it interesting that, despite repeated attempts, not a single person on Propeller has responded to my request for a list of "Neocon" names.
Be that as it may, since the "Neocons" are "in agony" because they know Obama will never attack Iran, is it safe to assume that the liberals are thrilled because Iran is now free to develop nuclear weapons and use them against Israel? Will they be having parties once Iran actually uses those weapons?
Liberals will answer, "of course not".-

This is the first time I've seen your request for a list of Neocon names, but here are a couple you can start with:
Reply
The first major neoconservative to embrace the term, Irving Kristol, was considered a founder of the neoconservative movement. Kristol wrote of his neoconservative views in the 1979 article "Confessions of a True, Self-Confessed 'Neoconservative.'"
Another source was Norman Podhoretz, editor of Commentary magazine from 1960 to 1995. By 1982 Podhoretz was calling himself a neoconservative, in a New York Times Magazine article titled "The Neoconservative Anguish over Reagan's Foreign Policy".

It seems that stupidity of some does not have limits... Those of us who are not THAT stupid realize that attack on Iran does not depend on Obama's Peace Price or even on Obama period.
It depends on the Iranian leaders and how far they're willing to go in order to provoke an attack on their country. Unfortunately, it seems that they're willing to go all the way. -

The only agony I have is the insanity that liberals think this place is Cuba. As long as this place is called America, I'm going to sit back and let the market forces fan me while feeding me grapes. The other agony is that we can't throw all of you liberals into the sea where you'll be Aquaman's problem instead of America's.

Some of us are trying to establish a connection between the Nobel Peace price and the attitude of the US government towards foreign countries.
Reply
In this particular case they believe that the Peace Price awarded to Obama somehow means green light to Iranian nuclear ambitions.

I don't want This nation to attack Iran,I just need assurance we will do everything to protect America.Obama is sending mixed messages throughout the world, like if were attacked I want to no why.I have news for Obama,if we look up some day,and find ourselves surrounded by Muslim Jihadist,we will not surrender, but I believe Obama could live under Muslim rule.

I'm afraid that I have some news for you... If the US will do nothing waiting to be surrounded by Muslim Jihadists the day Americans will find themselves surrounded by Muslim Jihadists will arrive sooner than you think. When it happens Americans will have two choices: either surrender and live under Muslim rule or NOT surrender and not live, period. -

I'm sorry I brought it up,but I will be leaving this earth shortly, and leaving a treasure trove of great American children, grand children, and great grand children, and I have no confidence in someone as flippant about America as president Obama.
