Political bullet points: GOP crazy train to teabagville »
Posted By ameliog 2 months ago in Political OpinionWhat is it about the Republican party that seems to embrace crazy lately? Whether it is creepy, weepy Glenn Beck, the well-read, winkin' Sarah Palin, or Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, the GOP seems to be gravitating towards ever scarier characters.

This article is unkind to Bachmann and Palin and company.

Crazy is such an ugly word.
I remember well, at the asylum where I was sent as
a misunderstood child, - how the guards and so-called
'doctors' would taunt us with that demeaning,
meaningless label.
It was unfortunate;
- particularly when we took over one night and gave
them a very firm lesson on the importance of
respectful language.
Other phrases, like "Psychotic homicidal sociopath" used to
bother me too,
- but don't let that interfere with your decision
whether or not to pos this comment.-

The good old days. It was the state of the medical art at the time. Now "crazy" has been replaced by "psychotic" and electroshock therapy is out of the asylums and in the hands of police using tasers.

*Boehner of my Existence. House Minority Leader and tanning aficionado, John Boehner (R-OH), attended the party as well and affirmed his solidarity to 'stand with all freedom-loving Americans against this bill.' And I believe him. He is standing with some Americans against this bill. The CEOs and corporate execs that run the major insurance companies in this country are, after all, citizens too.
*Boehner of my Existence Part II. But Boehner wasn't finished. He then went on to say that, "This bill is the greatest threat to freedom that I have seen in the 19 years I've seen here in Washington." I don't believe I can string together enough well-placed adjectives or pen flowery language sufficient enough to describe just how patently absurd this is.
*I'm Not Making This Up. And finally, Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) is a definite candidate for the GOP Nut Job of the Year award. Recently, on the floor of the house that Washington, Franklin, and Jefferson built, Foxx had this enlightening tidbit to offer, 'I believe we have more to fear from the potential of that bill (healthcare reform) passing than we do from any terrorist, right now, in any country.'
The founders' eyes must be rolling in their graves. -

"Overall, the scene was as amusing as it was pathetic. A throng of angry people used as window dressing at a political stunt show listening to patronizing cartoon characters denounce everything from socialism to the idea of death panels.
Wait! Wait, I can't take anymore of the bizarro world, GOP. I give up. Yes, that's right. Teabaggers...you got us. You've tortured us enough and I'm ready to spill the beans. What we really want is for the government to eliminate insurance companies so they can take over the racket for themselves in order to euthanize senior citizens. Which makes a lot of sense...especially when you consider that 48 U.S. Senators (including 26 Democrats) and 103 U.S Representatives (including 66 Democrats) are, you guessed it, senior citizens."
Hahahaahahahaaaaa !!!!!!
The ones who really get to me are the so called "Christians" who are okay with allowing people to die for the profits of the insurance companies.
I can understand non Christians doing this, because pleasure in this life is all they will have.
Oh wait now I get it. The non Christians are the so called "Christians" who love money, greed, power and pleasure. Over the well being of their constituents who elected them to act in their best intersts.
Reaganism, act the part, but don't actually live the part.
Bushism, god told me to go to war, er, maybe that was Cheney.
Pathetic truth !!! Any who deny health care because they don't want to be burdened with helping another, well what the heck do ya call your self ???
SELFISH unto death !!!
