For all the protesting against the war when Bush was president, you would think the same would still be going since we are still in Iraq and Afghanistan. Turns out that the Liberal protesters were using out dead soldiers to gain political points so they could get elected.
True patriots are the Liberals who only care if someone dies when they can gain something from it. Don't hear any protests now do we? Just silence when a Democrat is elected.

Middle man needs to think about what he is saying. He is just using the hate speech from Soros. This mindless ranting about people with the ad hominem attacks is very childish. He goes off with a red herring attack with the ad hominem attack. What was discussed was Obama's method of discussing this tragedy. He started with another subject he joked around about ant then went into the subject of his real talk. It reminded me of Clinton when overseas for a funeral and was caught on camera approaching the place ans was joking and when he saw the cameras turned sad. The big difference is that Obama joked out in front of the sad part of his speech. Very sad presentation for the people that died or were wounded.

Obama so loves America he apologizes for it at the drop of a hat, as he embarrassingly tries to rewrite history. His best friends are the Castros, Chavez, Zelayas, and Kahdafi. He snubs and British, the French, and the Germans and as far as protocol his refusal to attend the anniversary of the fall of the Berline Wall says it all. As Europe looks to America for leadership there is none. A tax cheat as Secretary of Treasury, who btw was Chairman of the NY Fed during the economic meltdown, a Chief of Staff who was on the board of directors of Fannie Mae, and Raines and Johnson who served as CEO of Fannie. All three did absolutely NOTHING to stem the tide of dangerous sub prime mortgages. Well done LIBS

Just today a conservative poster submitted a story linking the Ft Hood shooter with the 911 terrorists.If this is true it is yet another reminder of Bush/Cheney dropping the ball and not keeping us safe.They had 8 years to make this connection but "dithered" on such wasteful things as trying to change our constitution to take rights away from citizens who want to marry who they choose.

President Obama approval rating stands at 54%. When Bush left office he had the lowest approval rating ( 22% ) ever recorded by a president.

I disagree. I want a President who is measured, especially in public. A leader does not panic, nor let his/her emotions rule the day.
But then, I imagine if Obama went off half-cocked the right would condemn him as being 'reactionary'.

Based on his voting record, you would be correct. I believe he was ranked as the most liberal voter in the Senate. Just as the most conservative Senator would likely irk nearly every hard lib, so too should the most liberal Senator-turned-president irk nearly every hard con. It's the old 30-30-40 thing; the country is 30 left, 30 right and 40 in the middle. I'm not sure how accurate that is these days though.
