Considering all the impediments put in by the GOP, the PACs and the lobbyists, to get anything done is a miracle

I love that the con media keeps making up "milestones" that we never saw them mention for George Bush. LOL

"The Bush Record After 10 Months".

Caught flat-footed and un-prepared for 9/11. Even with advanced warning.

Have you noticed that when something serious is going on, like Iran canceling its agreement to ship out uranium, or chaos in afghanistan, that Obama takes an overseas trip.

okay. the first ten months. lets see...

from obama's first full month until now, the unemployment rate has gone up 2.1%

in the ten months preceeding obama, unemployment rose 2.6%

      --

on obama's first day in office, the Dow closed at 7949.09
last friday (nov. 6) the Dow closed at 10,023.42

thats a rise of 2074.33 points, a 26% growth in our stock market since obama took over.

in the ten months preceeding obama, the stock market DROPPED 3691.03 points.

in fact, 2008 was the third worst performance year EVER for the Dow.

      ---

obama also created an office or Urban Policy in the white house in order to put a spotlight on America's struggling cities. thru this office and the reocvery act, the justice dept was able to secure $2 billion for Byrne Grants, which funds anti-gang and anti-gun task forces. This money was cut during the Bush years.

obama also put under federal protection more than two million acres of wilderness, thousands of miles of river and a host of national trails and parks when he signed the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 in late March. its the largest conservation effort in the last 15 years.

      obama also...

      well, you get the picture.

there's a whole lot more (like yesterday's health care reform passing thru the house)

      one thing's for sure...
      the guy has been WORKING!!

I don't think that the government taking over a company can be described as socialism. Of course government must take over a company if that company or an organization is a failure. If the government pumps billions of trillions of dollars into bankrupt companies then the companies must be owned by the government because it is the public money and that should not be given to any failed company just because they failed and being a Hugh company. No company should think that it could fail and then government would comes to its rescue.

Given inherited from Bush, Obama managed to achieve some success. At least the question of the crisis is now not so acute.

For every gain in the stock market, thousands of jobs are lost. The only barometer I care about is jobs, and tax receipts we cannot print, and borrow our way to prosperity.I don't know what day it will be,but soon I fear we will wake up one morning and find we have hit the wall. Our money will worthless,we will have lost our way the president will finally be exposed as an incompetent, and the children will look at us with tears running down their cheeks asking how,any why did you let this happen.

He's kept us safe longer than George, and works a heck of alot harder than W.

      Two facts that are undisputable.

If your memory isn't selective memory, you will remember how the Media and the Radical Leftist Democrats like Hilary Clinton and John Kerry bashed President Bush for the shortage of flu shots 4 or 5 years ago. Where are these hypocritical, loud mouth, SOBs now that a flu shot shortage exists during O'Bama's watch?

I believe averting a 'Depression' is pretty major. Then again, I'm not like the obstructionists who focus on the negative for political reasons. Sadly, if not for the bailouts, America would have been responsible for an entire world collapse. Like I said, pretty major!

Where did Obama and his CARTEL learn to lie with such consistancy?

"Remember, as the media you must never take one step back. Never apologize for presenting false information as fact. Never admit that the propaganda is dishonest. The only way the cultural revolution can be won is to keep hitting and never give up. It may take years, decades even. but eventually our ceaseless battle to win over the minds of the impressionable will succeed. The ones who do not succumb will be ridiculed, and if necessary, silenced. Socialism is mankinds greatest experience, and the only way for the true masters of mankind to rule. Through state run education and the media, and its control over the flow of information, our war will be won."

              -Saul Alinsky, Liberal socialist revolutionary

After two and one half months Obama still can't make a decision on his own General's request for more troops!! His inaction equals a "Present' vote just as he did 160 times here in Illinois.
