Veterans Day Cartoons to Give a Patriotic Glow to Even the Dimmest Editor »

A batch of some of my favorite Veterans Day cartoons from cartoonists who don’t care what New York Times and Newsweek editors think. These cartoons will bring a patriotic glow to even the dimmest editor as the cartoonists express their appreciation to our veterans.

Thank you to all veterans, for making the land that I love, our freedom possible. I salute you.

"Made possible the the generous service of a war veteran near you."

And folks, they are everywhere. They are in your hospitals, your towns, your restaurants, your churches, your schools....if you seen one, give them your thanks.

From a veteran, I am proud to have served my country and this Republic. Thank you for all who remember and for those who don't as well. I'm glad that those of us who have served have given our countrymen the ability to forget us as war has been kept from their door by the sacrifice that we have made...gladly.

How utterly sad, however, that you would turn these decent ' cartoons' into a political attack. There are just as many 'liberal' or 'democratic' veterans as conservative and each one of them deserves exactly the same respect.

                Thanks alanacou.

                Good post.

This day is especially hard for some of us.
We remember our friends who earned the most but never got home to enjoy it !!!

As far as being political on this day.
Blood knows no difference, it is red when it flows from all who serve.

I love my country and my fellow vets in a way one would have to be combat tested to understand.

For all who never made it home, I salute you.
For all who made it home, I salute you.

For all who honor us I thank you and say it was a privilege to stand in the breach for this country and her people.

Never forget all our brave vets !!!!

Thanks y soitenly for the heads up !!!!
