No doubt. However, unlike the Democrats, Republicans have not ignored the anti-Semitism of their members and provided them with honors. For example, Jimmy Carter, the "elder statesman" of the Democrats is an anti-Semite. Not only by virtue of his anti-Israel statements and conduct, but by the fact that, while he disgraced the office of President, he advocated leniency for a Nazi war criminal residing the in US. Another example would be Al Sharpton, who addressed the 2004 Democratic National Convention. I don't believe I need to expound further on him. Also, in 1992, David Dinkins was honored at the Convention. Dinkins ensure the police took no action while his African-American "brothers" were murdering and maiming the Jews of Crown Heights in 1991.

And what does it say when you're willing to overlook these views because you agree with them on most other issues? Let me tell you - it undermines your credibility as a whole.
I have, in the past, taken issue with those of my fellow Conservatives who used phrases like "liberal Nazi", compared Democrats to Nazis, or compared Obama to Hitler. In response, my fellow Conservatives negged my comments. I will no longer take exception to these comparisons. After all, why shouldn't I excuse these views since I agree with them on most other issues?-

His institute's two top researchers resigned in disgust (yes, look it up... even if you'll find an inconvenient truth!) at how he twisted the facts and their research and you call it truth?
You find nothing wrong with the scurrilous attack on Jews quoted in the above post, obviously you also think that is "truth". Your true colors are showing all too clearly!

It is a thorny issue. Both of them.
In the "real world", I do not think much of the Rev. Sharpton, although he has had his good moments. But I do agree that he has exhibited some anti-Semitism, and I cringe when I see him being invited to DNC functions.
I don't know much about Dinkins, but I was rather busy in 1991 and a bit out of touch with what was happening. Too lazy right now to do any research, so I'll take you at your word. It sounds absolutely reprehensible.
President Carter is a bit of another issue for me. I certainly don't think of him when I think of great Presidents, but he is certainly intelligent and has done much good for many people. As for his anti-Semitism, I am not convinced. Criticism of Israel and their policies should not evoke a knee-jerk charge of anti-Semitism any more than criticism of President Obama should automatically be labeled racism.
I, too, have called out fellow liberals on Propeller, and I still do, occasionally, usually with PM's. There are certain liberal posters I frequently neg, and some I completely ignore because of their extended rants. For me, it's a bit of a cycle. I get in one of my moods and I start reminding liberals to be a little nicer, a little less coarse.
But then I get negged from both sides.
Currently, my mood is to be as nice as I can to everyone, because not only do I want what's best for this country, but I want everyone - even those who think my liberal views are worthy of hate - to feel like their thoughts and opinions matter, and that if we only talk, we can work out most of our differences.
You want the truth? As "liberal" as I am, most of my casual acquaintances think I'm an ultra-Conservative Republican. And I do respect many values that would be considered conservative. I strive to only call real fascists, fascists. I do not think there has ever been a successful Communist government - certainly not any I would care to live under.
Sorry for the length of my reply, but since you took the time to talk, I felt I owed you a longer explanation.

It isn't merely criticism of Israel and her policies. For example, I criticized Israel for forcing Jews out of their homes. There is much, much more. But, that's probably a subject for another day.
