Ah yes..Can't have honesty..The masses just can't handle the truth so make all in government that are honest retire..Can't give up that united front.
Pot laws here in the US are soon to be changed, and for the better i believe.
I have always looked at the numbers..How many people die each year because of alcohol ? I don't mean just auto accidents, which is enough for sane people to say it's a dangerous drug and should be illegal, but those numbers plus murders,illnesses,etc..The numbers are staggering, but it is legal..Flip side, how many deaths from pot? How many family's have been ruined in comparison to alcohol?
Now if the repugs that go on about government intrusion would get behind legalizing,or at least decriminalization, then we could have this idiocy stopped in the next two years.

Let the era of enlightenment begin.

AMA Calls for Review of Medical Marijuana’s Legal Status: In a move considered historic by supporters of medical marijuana, the American Medical Association's House of Delegates today adopted a new policy position calling for the review of marijuana's status as a Schedule I drug in the federal Controlled Substances Act.

"This shift, coming from what has historically been America's most cautious and conservative major medical organization, is historic," said Aaron Houston, director of government relations for the Marijuana Policy Project, who attended the AMA meeting. "Marijuana's Schedule I status is not just scientifically untenable, given the wealth of recent data showing it to be both safe and effective for chronic pain and other conditions, but it's been a major obstacle to needed research."
