Paco de Lucia has been around for a LONG time and is justly famous in the spanish speaking world - good to see that he finally begins to get some recognition in the english speaking world.

Paco de Lucia - Entre dos aguas (1976) full video

Paco de Lucia was born Francisco Sánchez Gómez in Algeciras, a city in the province of Cádiz, at the southernmost tip of Spain directly in front of the Rock of Gibraltar. The youngest of the five children of flamenco guitarist Antonio? Sánchez, and brother of flamenco singer Pepe de Lucía and flamenco guitarist Ramón de Algeciras, he adopted the stage name Paco de Lucía in honor of his Portuguese mother, Lucía Gomes.

I'm really pleased you all like this,it's a special piece of music to me.
I've loved Paco be Lucia for 20 years and Al Demiola since "Return to forever days".I never liked "Mahavishnu Orchestra",too frantic for me,but love John McLaughlin on acoustic.
This trio is a guitar lovers dream, the Worlds best Flamenco guitarist and 2 of the best Jazz/jazz fusion players around.Together they conjure some kind of alchemy and reach a unique type of music.
