Pacquiao vs. Cotto: Manny Doesn’t Look Focused »
Posted By BronxBomber 1 week, 4 days ago in SportsBy Manuel Perez: After watching HBO’s Pacquiao-Cotto 24/7 episode 2 last Saturday night, I couldn’t help but notice how disengaged Manny Pacquiao appeared to be while preparing for his November 14th fight with World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Miguel Cotto.

Should be a terrific fight coming this this Saturday November 14th on PPV. Who will win? Manny Paquiao the Asian sensation considered the best southpaw fighter in boxing will take on Miguel Cotto, welterweight champion out of Puerto Rico.

IMHO, it'll be Cotto because unlike Paquiao, he is a natural welterweight, and excellent counter-puncher who, will come charging out of his corner, my guess is that in the first three rounds will be very pernicious for Paquiao as Coto had dealt with fighters with similar styles with other boxers with fast fists of fury such as Shane Mosley, and even out jabbed Mosley in his own right. I base his victory by KO on his strength, tenacity, endurance, and natural body weight to offset Paquiao's speed but we'll see how it goes.
Awaiting the Doctor of the 'Sweet Science' Professor CowboyGrandPa for his input about this upcoming fight. -

Well, thanks my friend.
I see Paquiao coming in faster than Cotto. Remember in Boxing speed kills. Ya can't counter what ya can't hit.
I think it will be interesting to see if Cotto tries to work inside on Paquiaos body, and arms, taking away his speed.
I see Paquiao, staying moving and confusing Cotto with His southpaw style. If Cotto can circle and get Paqquiao off balance he can rock him with Right hands. But if he misses, boom, boom out go the lights.
I think Paquiao is in fighting shape, Cotto would be a fool to think any different.
I look for a close fight in the early rounds with each fighter trying to set the other up for a KO in the middle or late rounds.
Watch to see who works the body most effectively as that will kill a fighters strength and stamina.
I'll take Paquiao, in the eighth round. TKO
LOL
Sorry I'm so late. Just got off work. -
