    I couldn't help notice the education of some that made these predictions...and it leads me to believe they might have actually known the opposite...and led the general population away from any further considerations.
    The one that struck me most was the one about heavier than air flying machines...it reminded me of the 60's and all the failed attempts to make a flying saucer...LOL...today we'll find some of those are called hover-craft today. Good info.

      Ever since I was about six or seven and enamored with the X-ray eyeglasses you could buy through from the ads in comic books, I've been searching and have been unsuccessful in finding a real one that works. Now, they have full body scans at airports.

        To these add numerous high school level predictions that soon we would ride little cubicles (as opposed to cars), in which we would push buttons and be automatically carried along magnetic highways to our destinations.

        Must admit that I'm a little surprised by Bill Gates' remark on the 32-bit OS.
