clearly this isn't going to happen. He has managed to find a way to avoid negotiating with the US while still looking good to his people.

I fully support Obama's policy of greater negotiations instead of the cowboy foreign policy of Bush. I just hope their is a line where he is willing to say..this isn't working.

  i'm open to other avenues of contact. thing is, it looks like the outstretched hand is doing worse than the cowboy approach.

    I don't know that it is any worse, just not any better. He seems to be taking the "prime directive" approach to the situation. (He sorta looks vulcan)
    
    I get why he didn't support the protests, but I wish he had. I think supporting this "green revolution" movement is the next strategy if they wont budge.
