    The young Navajo Marines using secert Navajo language- encrypted Military terms, helped the U.S prevail at two Jima and other World War 11 Pacific battles, serving in every Marine assault in the South Pacific between 1942-1945. Military commanders said the code, transmitted by radio, helped save countless American lives and bring a speedier end to the Pacific.

      Too bad America recently "discharged" (FIRED) so many Arab-language translators from the military and CIA (because they were gay) that could have saved a lot of our current troops' lives...

        "Navajo" is a pejorative term meaning horse-thief. We prefer to be called 'Diné' (if that last letter didn't work, the usual transliteration is 'Dineh'). Here's a Wikilink:
