Newsflash, Detroit: it's assumed a car operates just fine out of the showroom. The salient point is, what do you have left after 4 years?
Like the Toyota commercial says...what...80 percent of all Toyotas sold in the last 20 years are still on the road?

I've enjoyed my ride with Chrysler over the past 20 years. So has my mechanic. Now the wifey drives a Sequoia and I drive a Lexus. Haven't seen my mechanic in months and won't seem him until the next oil change. Nothing but smooth sailing and maintenance repairs at regular intervals.
