I love how Libs. like to mislead you with the titles to the story. Lou Dobbs is anti- ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. Every country in the world protects their borders except us. What Lou points out is that we have an illegal operation going on 24 hours and do nothing about it.
Reply
Why is it that if he is a conservative then he can't talk about immigration without getting scolded? Don't the Libs think that the slave wages these people get paid are a bad thing?
We should be praising him for wanting to follow Laws.

Needless to say I find this very good news. As a person who does not like the mixing of News/Opinion - the Lou Dobbs program represented just that.
Reply
The only hour that CNN devoted to 'Opinion' was this program unlike Fox News and MSNBC who devotes 6 to 8 hours a day to opinion or as I like to call it - Talk Radio On TV -

From watching that CNN clip, it sounds like Dobbs may be thinking about running for office. If so, I admire that...very tired of talking heads like Hannity, Beck, O'Reilly, Olbermann and many others who love shooting off their mouths but never want to do the hard work that is needed to make the World a truly better place.

Being in good standing with those of a certain political affiliation, Lou would surely qualify as a political candidate, running on the Independent Racist Platform.
Reply
But if I were to wager on the likelihood, I would be prone to lean toward Mr. Dobbs taking his brand of racism to media mogul Rupert Murdoch's team of media morons. Viva Lou Dobbs, a certified American bigot, would surpass all of Fox News morality requirements.
Or Senor Dobbs could surprise us all and open a chain of Mexican restaurants.-

I could bother watching. He has to go to Fox as he deserves more exposure!
When the news broke around 3:15pmET yesterday of the massacre at Ft. Hood, the 24-hour news networks went in to high gear. A day later, we have the ratings which show where TV viewers went for information.
Between 3pmET and 7pmET, Fox News averaged 2.60M Total Viewers and 627K in A25-54 viewers coming in first of the three cable news networks, and adding viewers with each subsequent hour. CNN averaged 1.33M Total Viewers and 371K in the demo, seeing some drop-off at 6pmET. MSNBC averaged 624K Total Viewers and 196K in the demo, like FOX adding viewers with each hour. -

Lou Dobbs is not a bigot. I am assuming that you are making that claim based on his position regarding illegal immigration, if you are interpreting that as him being racist against latinos then you should take note that his wife is latino.

There's been a movement to have him canceled for months now. I wonder if that had anything to do with this departure, or if it truly was his decision to "pursue other interests" like he's saying. I guess time will tell, based on where he goes from here. Personally, I'm betting on a new show on Fox bearing his name cropping up in the coming months.

I can't believe the hatred,and envy of the democratic left.Not one of you clowns could hold candle to Dobbs in any endevor.You just don't have it,and you don't want anyone else to.You curse Bush mostly out of hate as instructed,but a lot of your crap is trying to put a sheen on Obama,make it look like the biggest mistake America ever was somehow thoughtful.

I may dislike Dobbs and Bush and it could even border on hatred but it's based on their actions. The two biggest mistakes Americans made was the elections of Reagan and Bush. Those two did more to destroy America in the guise of patriotism and love of country than Obama could ever conceive. Reagan started the impetuous towards economic and moral decay and Bush finished his work. Dobb's agenda seems rooted in bigotry and racism and used his TV show to propagate his sordid viewpoint on illegal immigrants. Dobbs's immigration reporting was marked by misinformation, extreme rhetoric, and data from organizations linked to white supremacists.

Fifty years ago he would have run for office;

perhaps even 10 years ago.
But now?
Power over american conservatives,
is based on talk .
Real political office requires compromise;
requires a plan. It looks weak.
For which reason, Palin resigned.
To govern is compromise; she wants to talk.
American conservaties are an audience .
They don't want leaders; they want to be entertained.-

Probably he shouldn't run for office. There are so many great and qualified candidates, especially for President in 2012 - Romney, Gingrich, Huckabee, Jindal, what's his name from Minnesota, and more - yes, even Giuliani and Palin. Even the worst of them would be far better than what we are stuck with now. I wish he would come here to Nevada and run against Dingy Harry Reid.

Palin just beat Obama at his game and the no good leftists can't stand it.His scheme of trying to put ethnic charges for every little thing got shoved up his arse.I heard Nobama is going to be Acorn's lawyer when they sue the government.Maybe he will be better at that then he has been at President.

CNN political reporter and State of the Union host John King will replace the abruptly departed Lou Dobbs in CNN's 7pm weekday slot starting early next year. Aside from hosting the network's Sunday political gabfest, King is known for using a touch-screen “magic map” to illustrate his election analysis.

For those that bash Fox News/Faux News/Fox Noise - I'm not a big fan of it, but their fan base is huge. Not that I am a fan of Fox News, but most of what they say is more or less true. I've watched Glenn Beck's show on occasion (if I'm out and about) and his sentiments do echo 90% of the thoughts that most Americans have. You don't have to be intelligent to be right.
