"Allegedly, the US is a superpower and Israel is a client state whose very existence depends entirely on US military and economic aid and diplomatic protection. Yet, in the real world it works the other way. Israel is the superpower and the US is its client state." -

Considering that the Arab oil nations have considerably more money than Israel will ever have, why haven't the Arab nations forged an alliance and used their oil money to counter the Israel lobby if, as you say, money is what is forcing the puppet politicians to bend over backwards. It would make sense that there would be a much more powerful Arab lobby in the US if money is what is greasing the wheels. Other than money, why would the Israeli lobby have so much power? Maybe they aren't as powerful as you think they are.

Politics and religion what a joke, people who are corrupted by either will end up being the end of us all, oh! I nearly forgot that is the objective of religion, as for politicians it's just a case of "I've got the power". Obama tried to flex his muscle and now the Prime Minister of Israel is flexing his muscle. Honestly, I'm beginning to think that no one really wants peace in this area, well maybe not those who could actually make a difference.

If this comment makes very little sense it's because I'm so damned p*ssed off at myself for ever entertaining the thought that there will be peace in this area, all people ever do in the Mid East is poke their neighbors with a stick and then b*tch when there is retaliation, this comment goes for either side whether the US is involved or not.-

If tomorrow Israel will remove all settlements, all military bases, all checkposts and will completely withdraw from the West Bank to the 1949 armistice lines... will there be peace, in your opinion?

"On November 9, Kucinich was forced to withdraw as the keynote speaker for the Palm Beach County (Florida) Democratic Party's annual fundraising dinner. The Israel Lobby gave the order -- dump Kucinich or there's no money and no one is coming to the dinner.
This is a pretty laughable claim. WHY could not those wanting Kucinich to speak offer MORE money and MORE guests than the "Israel Lobby" did? -

I keep repeating this,is anybody listening? The Arabs hate their children so much they strap suicide belts on them,so they can kill as many Jews as possible. What the children get out out of this,I couldn't say.Maybe its the exhilaration of knowing they killed several strangers. For Allah I guess.

Do you believe that cutting aid to Palestinians will make them more peaceful, Tchef? If you think that this is the case please consider that the Palestinians in Gaza whine about their hungry children while they have enough money and other means to build and launch Kassam rockets to Israel.

Do you believe that cutting aid to Israel will make Palestinians more peaceful? If you think that this is the case please consider that many Palestinians and other Arabs are willing to sacrifice their lives and the lives of their children to destroy Israel and that cutting aid to Israel will, supposedly, make Israel weaker and easier to be destroyed.
