Edmar14- This is just a personal thought about the idea of a Arab lobby. The lobby that may or may not exist in regards to Israel has ties to not only the nation but also the religion, those who are Jewish will support the effort to help the Nation of Israel and there numbers are considerable in the US. If we looked at this from the other side of the coin and most Muslims called Iran their nation we would likely see a different policy in regards to a Mid East policy since there would be a larger presences of American Muslims or even Muslims around the world that would support a lobby for the interests of the American Government for their causes.

Well, most Muslims call one or more of the Islamic countries "their" nation. It may be Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Syria, Libya, Morocco and many other nations populated by Muslims.
Further, for American Jews the United States (NOT Israel) is "their" nation... just like for Irish-Americans it's the United States and NOT Ireland.
...and yes, for American Muslims it's their religion (Islam) as well. Every real Muslim prays five times a day kneeling with his face towards Mecca which is in Saudi Arabia.
