Carrie Prejean to Larry King: 'You're Being Extremely Inappropriate and I'm About to Leave Your Show' -- Politics Daily »

But King's questions about a verboten topic resulted in several moments of awkward silence and nearly drove Prejean from the set.
Prejean spent the first portion of the interview praising her sisters in the conservative movement, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) and Sarah Palin, as "brilliant . . . great mothers" who have been "Palinized" -- that is, savaged by media for their political views. King then turned the conversation to Prejean's legal settlement with the Miss California USA pageant, including her claim of religious discrimination against the organization.

Sorry Ms. Prejean...no sympathy from me. You looked like a complete fool in this interview. Larry King's question was innocent enough and he also showed a willingness to move on which he did. You on the other hand wanted to make news. Congratulations for fitting right in with the Palin/Bachmann mold for utter stupidity.

Then, King went to a callers question. The agreement for the interview was for no callers, just King to interview her.
Palin and Bachmann are accomplished intelligent and very successful women. Just because they stand contrary to your beliefs does not mean they are stupid.

are just politicians. They don't entertain.
Palin and Bachman and Prejean are the future for the GOP.
Pretty, energetic actors in the conservative adventure movie.

If 'Palinzed' is the outcome of being unable to answer the tough questions - those exposing their own hipocricy - then Ms. Prejean's idiotic comments and complete inability to defend her actions are merely examples of such failures.

I watched excerpts from this interview. I found Ms. Prejeans attitude to be confrontational and a bit absurd. She would make an excellent running mate for Sarah Palin or Mike Huckabee. When Larry King decided to move on to phone calls is the moment Ms. Prejean decided to remove her mic.

Why is a beauty pageant contestant getting raked over the coals for this, being called every name in the book and having her private life strewn all over the media landscape, but they’re giving the leader of the free world a pass? Because in order to be in that beauty pageant, she had to sign sworn affidavits stating that she had nothing in her past that would bring shame to the pageant or herself.. She signed those papers knowing she had that tape out there. Had that been a Liberal girl you all would be merciless.

Not only did Miss "rub-a-dub-dub that's me in the tub" California lie to get in to the pageant in the first place,she made a fool of Trump who came to her defense regarding the pictures she took that were also a violation of pageant rules.When Trump stood in front of the cameras and defended the pictures as "a little racy" but allowed her to keep the crown,she,being the honest Christian she claims to be,could have said "wait,there's more".But she kept her silence thinking she had pulled something off and thought it was all over knowing the tape was there.Now THAT is "extremely inappropriate".

Vanessa Williams was truly embarrassed by that. She was underage at the time those pictures were taken and she was lied to by the photographer who promised never to release them. She was a victim of her own naivete. The fact that she picked up the pieces and made something positive for herself speaks volumes about her character and the times she came up in. Do you think she would be so fortunate today? I'd love to know what she thinks about Carrie Prejean. That would be an opinion worth hearing.

I watched the interview and he said he was not aware of the agreement about no callers. He apologized for same. However, she has no excuse for not answering his question about why she settled the case as it has nothing to do with the actual settlement.

She was clearly on the show to promote her book and nothing else.
It is titled "Still Standing" but IMO it should be titled "Still A Bimbo".
I at least was hoping she would tell us where we could get a copy of the video.
