Posted By Progressive 4 weeks ago in Political Opinion

President Obama is on his way today to the only part of the world where vast numbers of Muslims actually want Americans to join them in the struggle against the forces behind terrorism.

As he heads to Southeast Asia, the president has a chance to re-engage with the region's Muslims, strike a blow against radical Islam -- and separate himself from Bush.

While Obama is making buddies with Muslims he has lost the Germans, the French, and the English.

Too bad he doesn't think as highly of Catholics, protestants and Jews as he does of Islam.

Exactly what are you talking about klarissa or are you again simply making irresponsible comments.

Why don't we try the AXIS of Evil approach again and see what kind of wonderful results that provides.

I had read this on the other page

"If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy.
A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good."

Its unfortunate that conservatives imagine that strength comes from posturing, swaqgering, and making threats. Its also unfortunate that conservatives see imaginary enemies around every corner.

Does the idea of walk softly and carry a big stick mean anything to you.

Better yet why don't we just invade, because that was so effective the last time around.
