I had acupuncture once years ago when my parents took me to an acupuncturist when I was suffering with back pains after a football game. One look at those ferocious looking long needles made me forget about my back pains. I think that's how acupuncture works ... seeing those needles makes the patient forget about what ails him.

I suffered from horrible sinus headaches for many years until a friend recommended accupuncture to me. He had success with his allergies from accupuncture and swore by it.

I was reluctant for over a year before my skepticism was outweighed by my pain. I gave it a try and have to say after a series of treatments my headaches have lessened by 90%. Periodically, I go in for a "tune-up" (about once a year) and I would recommend accupuncture to anyone!!!
It basically activates the body's own healing process - and the human body IS an incredible machine! -

it works by stimulating the muscles in a pulsing action. it is an
accepted treatment and is effective for those people that have muscle spasm. ask any physical therapist who uses tens treatment in their practice. try it if you have chronic muscle spasm. it works! you have nothing to lose but your pain and it is cheaper than physical therapy and doesn't dope you up like pills. -
