Chuck Norris indulges violent eliminationist fantasies about liberals if he ran for office »
Posted By Tumultuous 1 month ago in Political OpinionFresh off warning us that President Obama intends to create a "one world order," Chuck Norris went on Sean Hannity's show last night on Fox and described his eliminationist fantasies if he ran for office:
Hannity: Why don't you run? No no no, there's a solution -- why wouldn't you -- Chuck Norris could be governor of Texas one day.
Norris: You know why? Because I'd be sitting here with my opponent, and debating, and then he would start attacking my character, and I'd jump over there and choke him unconscious.
[Laughter]
Hannity: You have more control than that!
Norris: I don't! That's the problem, you know. I have a thin skin. It was really tough in the film world. And in the political world, you know, I'd be killing half the people.

What's the usual reaction from the far right whenever a Dem or liberal actor expressed political opinions? Yet Walker Texas Ranger gets to opine on Faux without criticism, which his self-expressed thin skin would not be able to tolerate in a non-violent manner if he were to face any. I'm detecting yet another double standard.

If it's any comfort, he was opining on his own anger management issues and his unfitness for public office.

He may not be smart enough to understand that he was outing some fairly serious character defects. He apparently is still proud on some level of a propensity for disproportionate or unprovoked violence. That just makes him a pathetic and laughable a$$hole, particularly since he is getting up in years and it is becoming more likely that if he opens a can of whupass on the wrong guy he will himself be pounded back down to size and stuffed in said can.

It is really getting silly out there.

Sad to think that some people are serious about all of this stuff.
Maybe we should put our tin foil hats back on.
This junk only sets up problems like Oklahoma City, Waco and Ruby Ridge.
Ignorant and isolated people feed on conspiracy theories. They are not going to buy the books these loonies sell. I really don't see the fun in stirring this dangerous pot. -

Ain't no way that's his natural hair.
He's either wearing the world's cheapest toupee or he's trained a squirrel to perch on his head.
(Chuck Norris walks into a doctor's office with a squirrel on his head. The nurse says "Can I help you?" and the squirrel says "Yeah, get this has-been actor unstuck from my a$$!") -

It is fatal to a person's character,
Reply
- to pretend too long a particular persona.
You become that person.
And pretend characters are always shallower
than reality; always the sort that sees themselves
as the good, tough guy, and the opposition as
the weak, evil guys.
If Charles Norris were to become senator,
and get angry in a discussion and attempt
to choke his opponent,
- I know of half a dozen senators and congressmen
who are of liberal bent, who would break his
face upside his backside.
He is a martial artist paid to act a tough guy.
They are ex-soldiers who have learned to keep their
temper because they are tough.
When pretending spars with reality;
- reality wins every time. -
