What you have to know is that Gordon Brown is blind in one eye and has retina problems in the other which is why he writes with a bold felt tip pen. He took time out to write to Mrs Janes and misspelt her surname and the letter also had apparent spelling mistakes. Mrs Janes sent this letter and a transcript of a telephone call he made to her to "The Sun" newspaper owned by Rupert Murdoch and which has just switched its support from the Government to the Tory Opposition. So politics enters into the complaint. In former times this would have appeared in "The Times" but alas now owned also by Murdoch the Australian/American. Why is he meddling in British Politics I hear you say. In a single word which also applies to the USA: Money.-

Thanks for adding valuable information to the post, albionperfides. The article is a spoof on the events surrounding Gordon Brown's letter to Ms Jacqui Janes and needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. Appreciate your concerns but note that the intention of the article was not to hurt anybody's sentiment.
