Newton was the forerunner in the pursuit of various mathematical principles, and many fields of natural sciences have since followed in

his footsteps. During the 19th century and beginning of the 20th century, the desire to give substance to geometric ideas led to the

creation of mathematical models, envisioned by mathematicians and hand sculpted in plaster by artisans.

I have attempted to transform mathematical equations into tangible objects by inputting the equations into a computer and, using

Japan’s most advanced machining tools, produced them in pure aluminum.
