Rasmussen delivers more the-sky-is-falling-on-Obama spin in the WSJ »

Posted By Progressive 1 week, 3 days ago in Political Opinion

Continuing his obsession with documenting how supposedly weak Obama's polling numbers are, the GOP's favorite 'independent' pollster Scott Rasmussen teams up with colleague Douglas Schoen in the WSJ today to (surprise!) try to detail how weak Obama's polling numbers are. And yes, this is the same duo that teamed up in the winter in the pages of the WSJ to...try to detail how weak Obama's polling numbers were. (See a pattern? And did these two ever weigh in as Bush's polling numbers cratered?)

figures from Mediamatters. Rasmussen the only pollster who predicted Obama'a margin of victory cottectly. While every other poll had Obama ahead by as much as 12 points Rasmussen had it correct.

It will be a slow evolutionary process for the American public to transfer their thought processes from the “shoot from the hip” tactics/mentality of GWB to the more deliberate and thoughtful processes of President Obama. It will take time for Americans to understand this transformational process, but it will occur if President Obama is given the time and is steadfast in bringing reason back to the world population’s view regarding the true intent of what the USA stands for that was destroyed during the eight years of GWB.

This is becoming more and more amusing as each day passes. For years, libs would hunt out every little nuance of an error that Bush made, and scream about it from the highest rooftops, as though he had done something terribly wrong.

Now, they have obie, the ONE, the hand-picked messiah, and they are finding out that obie is just as bad, if not worse, than Bush was. And they are now denying that the "American People have spoken".
Guess what, it's true. obie is now on the hot seat. Bush went home. It is now obie's problem. More and more people are getting ticked off at obie becasue they are in worse shape now than they were 1 year ago. More people are unemployed now, than 1 year ago. More homes have been foreclosed now, than one year ago. And regardless of how loud you libs scream:"It's Bush's fault", people are looking to the man in charge to fix it. And when obie finally tells the American people he can't fix it, he will then have spoken his first truth as president. Until then, he will continue to bury the US in debt trying to "spend our way into prosperity", force us to go into deeper febt with socialized medicine, and probably even mandate that the Cubs win the world series.

like, oh you know, accusing a white police officer of aressting a black professor because of skin color.
