Hobe, only you repugs wanted to make Dumya a "king" with four supreme court judges who voted to throw out habeas corpus and they also support the "UNITARY EXECUTIVE" - scalia, thomas, roberts & alito. The supreme court has never been more radically fundamentalist and supportive of a repug king! The irony of comments by a true hypocrite and un-american fool!

Last time I checked, he still had three and a half years to end the war. What kind of idiots actually think that all you need to do is just walk out like you're leaving a room?

My guess would be that when he said that, he wasn't aware how deeply mired Bush and his thug cronies mired America in this diarrhetic war for the rich and their attempt to conquer the world, and only recently learned that it may take over a century to untangle ourselves from the horrific mess the Republicans made sure to bury us in, in they're latest attempt to destroy this country and it's free people--and then, naturally, they blame a Democrat that's been in office ten months... and, not surprisingly, conservatives being notoriously stupid, bought right into it, led by their ignorant King Of Lardasses, Rush Limbaugh and Prince Of Lies Sean Hannity.
And, for some reason, why is it always the people who back the war that seem to be in a panic that Obama hasn't ended it yet?-

Then why did he say -- correction, why did he PROMISE -- that it would be the FIRST thing he would do when president? Not the thing he'd do, eventually, in his first TERM, but the first thing OF that term. Maybe you need to watch the video again.

Exactly. Only idiots would believe that. But that's not what he said. He said it would be the first thing he would do as president, not the first IMMEDIATE thing he would do.

This being all a single sentence, it does touch partly on the truth, primarily regarding the nefarious doings of the republicans and their warmongering propagandists, but its key observation is once again utterly wrong: If Obama truly "wasn't aware how deeply mired Bush and his thug cronies mired America in this diarrhetic [sic] war for the rich", then he is too inept by half for the job to which he's been elected. But that's not in keeping with the persona of competent intelligence he projects. So which is it? He's an inept poser/puppet, or a Machiavellian master liar?
