U.S. diplomacy lacks moral imperative in war of ideas with al-Qaeda »

The U.S. is not losing the battle of perception against al-Qaeda in the Muslim world purely because they see America as a Godless society. Due to a systematic failure in public diplomacy, Muslims also see the U.S. lacking any foundational moral code whatsoever – divine, Kantian or otherwise.

This story does a good job in many areas. It failed to recognize some facts.

1. The early rants of Bin Laden told the world that the US is the Great Satan because we are not a Christian country any more and therefore are not protected from attack. They get this view from the movies and TV shows that show a lot of moral problems and makes fun of Judeo-Christian ethics. The news is very secular as well.
2. The history of Islam is one of conquest and that is mandated by the Quran and hadith. They are to conquer the world by force or other means and kill all of the Jews.
3. The first time that the US fought Muslim terrorists was in 1805. The Barbary Pirates. The Ambassador of Tripoly met with Thomas Jefferson when he was an ambassador in England. They used the same things that present terrorists use to justify their terrorism. The Quran and hadith tell them to attack the infidels and if they die doing that they go straight to paradise. What Thomas Jefferson reported back to the US can be found on the web. So there is nothing new in what they are doing today except using better weapons.
4. Muslims divide the world into two different parts. Dar el Islam (area of peace) and dar el harb (area of war). Where they rule is dar el Islam and everywhere else is dar el harb. They say that war is deceit. The example of Muhammad is used to demonstrate this to believers. Muhammad made a 10 year peace treaty with the three tribes of Jews living in what is now called Medina. Sequentially he broke the treaty over some flimsy excuse and forced two of them out with what they could carry and took everything they left as booty. The third tribe had the men beheaded and the woman and children sold as slaves thus getting every thing of theirs as booty. A bit later he made a 10 year peace treaty with Mecca. Two years later he showed up outside the city with a 10,000 man army and gave them the choice of become Muslims or be attacked. He then went around the Arabian Peninsula doing the same thing to all villages and towns there.
This is some facts about Muslims That people do not want to hear. Far from the religion of peace it is a religion of war. From the Arabian peninsula they went west to the Atlantic ocean and north west into Spain and were stopped at the Battle of Lordes in France. They went east to the Pacific by going through India and Indonesia. North east the were stopped outside Vienna. This is why there are Muslims in what used to be Czechoslovakia. They had attacked the Mediterranean islands and Italy as well. -

Muslims haven't seen their god,because all he left them to hang on to is hate.My God said, he would that none should perish,but all come to repentance,and be saved.On the one hand you have light on the other hand you have darkness.
