A Happy Thanksgiving to all...

The lyrics are a wordy narrative and will not fit in the box...
This song is called Alice's Restaurant, and it's about Alice, and the
restaurant, but Alice's Restaurant is not the name of the restaurant,
that's just the name of the song, and that's why I called the song Alice's
Restaurant.
You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant
You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant
Walk right in it's around the back
Just a half a mile from the railroad track
You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant......... -

I wish some of the reactionaries who lurk amongst these threads would listen to some of Woody's songs - Like This Land is Your Land, This Land is My Land & so many of the others he wrote and sang extolling the true virtues of America , perhaps they can learn to enjoy our country & it's freedoms & not try to remake it in some monolithic vision -

..Obie began to cry because he came to the realization that this was a typical case of American blind justice and that the judge wasn't gonna look at the 27 8x10 color glossy photographs, with the circles are arrows on the back of each one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence against us.."
